Near the Basque coast, you will find little gems within a two hour drive
that deserve an extension of your stay in the Southwest:
- wine & food lovers aim northbound for the
Bordeaux region or Southbound for the Rioja & Spanish Basque
country to further immerse themselves in the charms of the
culture
- amateurs of castles, caves, pre-history, medieval
villages on rocks and charming country side will head north East to
Dordogne
