Evelyne Dufau
Experience Authentique founder, Evelyne was born and raised in the Basque-influenced
Southwest of France in the shadow of the Pyrénées. She left
France in 1985 to complete her MBA in Toronto, Canada, a country with which she soon
became enamoured.
Post graduation, she followed a career in sales and marketing
in the United States, Mexico and Canada. A proud new Canadian, Evelyne retained
an abiding love and nostalgia for the country and region of her birth, with
her French family and childhood friends keeping her culturally and emotionally
connected to authentic art de vivre. In return, she has passed that experience
on to many English-speaking guests with the launch of Expérience Authentique
in 2002.
A Mompreneur ( i.e. entrepreneur and mother), the trilingual Evelyne
is active in her Toronto community, singing in the women's choir Cantores
Celestes, and serving as an organizer of summer camps for French immersion
students. Other times, you will find her in France hosting clients and building her Expérience
Authentique brand while enjoying family and
friends.
Expérience Authentique sees Evelyne's life come full circle.
It ties together by the heartstrings the two lands she loves.
